Kenya (5th September 2018) - The Cloud Factory, in partnership with Computech Limited and in collaboration with Microsoft hosted its breakfast event under the theme “Innovating Your Business With Microsoft Azure Cloud Services” on 5th of September 2018 at Capital Club, Nairobi, which gathered some of the prominent players from mix industries in Kenya.

Businesses in Kenya are currently witnessing rapid innovation through digital transformation. Be it financial, logistics, software, retail, automotive or medical — digital disruption is omnipresent. Delivering a good digital business experience to customers and employees through the use of innovative business applications, at the speed of ideas, is a must to stay ahead of competition, in this digital era.

During the event, the team of Computech, led by Dipak Galaiya (Managing Director, Computech) shared their 30 years of technology leadership position in East Africa, across industry sectors, products and services, with substantial work done in providing professional services, infrastructure solutions, technical support, and technology outsourcing to all sectors.

The session also brought together Carl Martens (Azure Senior Solution Specialist, Microsoft) who explained to the audience about how Microsoft, with its portfolio of Azure Cloud services, is exclusively qualified to assist businesses in continuously innovating and transforming themselves for the digital age.

Vivek Mathur (Managing Partner, The Cloud Factory) welcomed the guests present and shared with them different case studies of how businesses in the region are leveraging Microsoft Azure to build solutions that are driving workers' performance, lowering costs and enhancing their business customer experience. The solutions ranging from moving applications to Cloud, AI Chatbots for customer support, Data Analytics for converting data into business insights, amongst others are making businesses redesign themselves to gain competitive edge in the market and to ultimately future proof their business.
