The Cloud Factory EMEA was honored to be invited to be part of the panel discussion on startup scenario in Mauritius on 4th January 2016. The forum was organized by La Sentinelle and had theme called #startupmauritius.
Vivek Mathur represented The Cloud Factory EMEA and shared his perspective on startup opportunities and challenges. “Startups are much more than just coming up with a product or a service. It’s about coming up with a scalable business model and that’s the key point how startups should be defined.” There are many challenges that a startup can encounter but in order to concretize the vision of a company such as The Cloud Factory EMEA, it is important to have a good team working together towards the same goal.
The debate was well attended by several participants from different sectors, including Sten Tamkivi, Former Head of Skype Estonia, Suraj Ramgoolam, Project Manager at the Ministry of Communication Technologies and IT, Denis Lacour of Esokia Web Agency Ltd, Donald Lim Fat, Manager at Information Management Services Ltd, Vivek Mathur, CEO of The Cloud Factory EMEA and Ish Sookun, Linux system Administrator at La Sentinelle.
